I am a skeptic of most Alternative Medicines and have been open that my opinion is that there is no basis or evidence for most AltMed. (very few exceptions)
If I saw certain forms of evidence for AltMed I would begin to change my position.

Ever notice how people like Know the Cause always make vague and generalized statements such as “doctors just treat the symptoms, not the CAUSE”. I would like to know some specific examples of illnesses and/or conditions that we allegedly do not know the CAUSE of or do not treat/address the CAUSE of. And why do they also engage almost exclusively in “negative campaigning”? The majority of the “questions” are rather transparent criticisms of traditional medicine as opposed to what they SHOULD be doing – which is to extol the virtues of Alternative Medicine.
Look at the various “questions” and answers given – they frequently stoop to name-calling and ridicule as a defense against logic and civility. Calling someone a dumb*$@ belongs in a bar or on the playground – not in a serious forum for the discussion of health related issues.

She told me that she’s giving me a chance….and that I should stop just saying that I like her & actually do something to make her feel it. Make her feel special or touched.
We text or talk on the phone every day, we’ve went out like 3 times around once a week.
Because her health was poor so I made her some chinese tea stuff (stuff you drink to make you feel better, we’re both chinese so yeah, its kind of like how some ppl drink soup when their sick) and brought it for her when I saw her. She liked it and said that thats the first time anyone has done something like this for her, in a positive manner.
I decided not to text her first today, and around lunch time she texted me asking me what i’m doing and stuff….
What should I do now?
I can’t really thing of a one singular event which would make her feel special, I could only slip in a few small thing now and then that she had mentioned.
Special fancy candle light dinner won’t be special, we do that all the time.

Lizard’s Tail Rotting Off?

Okay well this morning i picked up my 12 year old Chinese Water Dragon as I usually do and it looks like the end of his tail is going to fall off. I put him in the tub to get a closer look and it’s all shriveled up and twisted. An old blood clot floated off of it but other than that it’s pretty much dead. Now I’m not some sicko animal neglect-er, he is old. We rescued him from some lady off craigslist who had him in a bad environment.
So is he dying? Like do they just fall apart when they get old or did he hurt himself? He let me touch it and acted as if it had no feeling left at all. Weird for him, he’s always been protective of it. And I have noticed him kinda losing it in the head lately. Acting strange and hiding his food.
Should I see if it falls off and heals? Or should I ultimately put him to sleep before he is in pain? If anybody knows anything about elderly Chinese Water Dragons please let me know.

First off, I am not fat. I wouldn’t use this word to describe anyone of my size. I am 5′4.5″, 130 lbs, and a size 4-6. I’m not skinny, that’s for sure, but I believe I am a healthy, average, normal, American Caucasian, 19 year old girl.
I don’t over eat, I don’t eat much meat, dairy, or white carbs. I don’t indulge myself in junk food, but I do enjoy a sweet every now and then.
I admit I could be a lot more active, but I wouldn’t say I am a completely lazy and sits on my *** all day. I am usually out and about doing something.
I do enjoy tennis, swimming, bike riding, etc… but getting up for a run every morning or reps just ins’t my cup of tea.
I used to be extremely skinny while growing up. People used to call me peanut, bean, stringbean, toothpick, etc. They told me I needed to put some muscle on my bones. It all changed when I turned 16, went on birth control, and well…. grew up.
My boyfriend of 6 months, is 24, Chinese(I find this important to point out, because it is common knowledge, that asians tend to be leaner), and in decent shape. He works out when he finds time, and really cares a lot about his physical appearance and health. He doesn’t however have the healthiest diet, but he also doesn’t pig out(non-asian cuisine).
When I met him I was the same size I am now. Less than 2 months into the relationship he started making comments about my weight, that made me feel really insecure about myself. He never went about it the right way, and always ended up digging himself a bigger ditch. He insists he finds me sexy, but tells me if I lost weight, our sex life would improve(it is however… amazing). He complains that I am lazy and doesn’t understand why I wouldn’t want to change for him if I liked him so much. I know guys are very visual, but I am not any different from when he met me. If he preferred skinnier girls, why didn’t he go for them?
I’m not saying I won’t lose weight, and I’m not saying he is completely wrong for wanting me at my best… but he makes me feel like a fat ugly loser. Sometimes to the point where I actually cry, but he doesn’t even see what’s wrong. If I want to lose weight, I want to do it for myself, not him. I like the way I am now, and I don’t want him to pressure me so much to be smaller.
How should I confront him with my feelings? He doesn’t understand me when I say “I want to change for myself, not you”.

Why can’t UK and NZ Osteopaths renounce osteopathic quackery and leave the crackpot osteopath true believers in Cranial Therapy and 19th century osteopathic mumbo-jumbo behind?
USA Osteopaths cleaned up their profession by driving out the more ludicrous skull throbbing cranks out. Why can’t ethical Osteopaths in the UK and New Zealand do the same? There’s enough evidence to show that arm swiveling and back cracking osteopathic techniques may (barely) exceed placebo in efficacy, so why not abandon the other worthless osteopathic superstitions, join evidence-based medicine, and declare themselves Ethical Physiotherapists?
If the Physiotherapists (Physical Therapists?) refuse to associate themselves with Osteopaths, perhaps the Osteopaths could declare themselves “the College of Alternative Massage Therapists.”
Trinity Blood Drama Cd – Original Script/ Translation?

I know a bit Japanese but clearly that’s not enough to understand a CD loaded with it. I got the whole set of Trinity Blood Drama CD (all the R.A.M.s and those ’sound files’ which based on the manga vol. 1-2) and can understand/ guess ~ 70%. That’s because most of those dramas (“flight night”, “witch hunt”, “silent noise”, “know faith”…) are following closely the original R.A.M. novels; however, there are parts added in these drama that aren’t written in the original novels/manga.
Even though these additions are only ~5-20 mins per story, I really want to know what’s going on.
So, the question is: Does anyone knows where I can buy/download/read either ORIGINAL scripts or translated/dubbed versions of those TB drama CDs (RAM I, II, III, TB drama files #1-4)?

please advise on what to do as im freaked out. i live in Canada and the chinese version says it has left the treatment version to Vancouver. I called canadapost and they have not received it as they say that the parcel has not left China, but the seller says it has left China.. please what should i do.. ems doesnt have a contact number outside china.. im freaked please help
