I Think I’m Taiwanese, Possible?

I saw this question saying the Taiwanese are just Chinese people living in Taiwan Island and that by blood they are still chinese?
My blood type is “O”, if I get blood transfusion from a Taiwanese, does it make me Taiwanese now? How bout if the blood is made in China? am I Chinese now?

Well if you are going to use any empirical standard to have a blood transfusion so as to stand the test of not being ethnically Chinese by blood. Then I would assume you need to do a nation wide cast call for all aboriginals who have never married outside of their tribe, then with that you would have to do DNA marker tests to insure that their ancestors didn’t have a fling with a Dutchman, or a Han, to find the purest of Taiwanese bloodlines. Then you would have to find one of them that has a matching blood type and immunity by cross-matching the bloods, just so that you don’t have a bad reaction to it when the two bloods mix. Once you have found the perfect candidate(s) you would then need to convince the individual(s) to transfuse their blood for yours, now this part is tricky, because it would either require a lot of money or a lot of leverage against the person, or the person to be completely willing to do this out the interests of scientific study.
Once completed you will no longer have ties to Chinese people by blood, however you still wouldn’t escape the likes of the 14 year old yunixop who thinks all Taiwanese are Chinese, Cultural Insight/BSherman/A.T./Average American/George Washington (this account was recently deleted)/unknown proxy account(s) who is anti-Taiwanese in general, because even though you completely transfused your blood with another individual you can’t transfuse your cellular DNA. Your body is what it is, blood or not. If you have dominate ethnic/genetic connections to Han Chinese (or in the opinion of the CCP any ethnic group of China) you are always going to be entirely/partially Chinese. This was predetermined before your birth at the cellular level, maybe even before that.
It would be the same as saying that just because an Egyptian had a partial blood transfusion with an Eskimo and Albino Englishman (so that he/she has half the blood of both) is no longer an Egyptian instead they are an Albino Eskimo. Kinda silly right.
I do agree that the people of Taiwan are not Chinese, because unless they took measures only to marry people who came from the mainland with Chiang, or those who fled from China during the civil war or they are recent immigrants to Taiwan, there are very few pure blood ethnic Chinese in Taiwan; since they intermarried/reproduced with the native people of Taiwan, or with the Japanese, or with the Dutch, or with any of the vast majority of expats that have passed through Taiwan.

Blood transfusions aside, if you trust your heart just a little more often than your head, then you may just be a Taiwanese.

“Taiwanese are just Chinese people living in Taiwan Island” – a common misconception and lie that the China mainland would love you to believe. And the idiot who said, “All Taiwanese people are Chinese” – have you even looked into the ethnic groups that are in Taiwan and the ethnic make-up of the Taiwanese people?
Only 7.5% of the Taiwanese population are of pure Han Chinese ethnicity. These are the people who fled China with Chiang Kai-Shek in 1949. The rest of the Taiwanese population is of MIXED aborigine and Han Chinese ethnicity. The first wave of Chinese immigrants arrived in Taiwan in the 1600s with Zheng Chenggong. They were militants who then inter-married with the aborigine women of Taiwan. To say that these people are just ‘Chinese’ is like saying Mexicans are just ‘Spanish’, or Americans are just ‘German’, as most are of German descent.
On top of that, there is still a large population of aborigines living on the Taiwanese island. They are not Chinese at all. To say that ‘all Taiwanese are just Chinese’ is very ill-educated. My mother for example, is Amis
Resident of Taiwan? You are Taiwanese. Your ethnicity is Taiwanese. To be Chinese, you have to be from China, or your recent ancestors have to have emigrated from China. We don’t call the English ‘Germans’ because they are of Anglo-Saxon descent.

    Give me a break.
When ppl say “blood” it means “genes”, not “blood” as in “the red liquid”.
(Stop giving ppl of blood type O a bad name! Ppl would think they’re all stupid as you!!!)
