Why Are The Feds Asleep At Wheel Regarding Immigration?

If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hardlabor.
If you cross the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely.
If you cross the Afghan border illegally, you get shot.
If you cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally you will be jailed.
If you cross the Chinese border illegally you may never be heard from again.
If you cross the Venezuelan border illegally you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed.
If you cross the Mexican borders illegally you will jailed for two years.
If you cross the Cuban border illegally you will be thrown into political prison to rot.
BUT:
If you cross the United States border illegally you can EXPECT TO get:
1 – A job
2 – A driver’s license
3 – A Social Security card
4 – Welfare
5 – Food stamps
6 – Credit cards
7 – Subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house
8 – Free education
9 – Free health care
10 – A lobbyist in Washington
11 – Billions of dollars in public documents printed in your language
12 – Millions of servicemen and women who are willing to – and do – die for your right to the ways and means of our constitution
13 – And the right to carry the flag of your country – the one you walked
out on – while you call America racist and protest that you don’t get enough respect.

They are not asleep at the wheel. This is purposeful. Obama and his circle are Internationalists that do not believe in US sovereign borders. It’s like a religion and being fanatic about it. The US looks foolish keeping its border wide open and allowing terrorists, criminals and bottom dwellers from all other countries to enter freely. All the above points you mentioned are a disgrace for a world leader. I saw the Mexicans rejoicing in Mexico City when the left wing judge decided against Arizona today. I was so enraged I could just spit. We have our own lefties with their reversed logic to thank. Plus the government schools for creating a nation of dumba$$es

The US is in fact responsible for illegal immigrants coming to the US. Read below. You need to analyze the problem before typing bullshit behind your computer. People wouldn’t be coming to the US if your corporations didn’t make people’s lives miserable.
In order for you to understand the problem of illegal immigration you need to look at American foreign policy an neo-liberal economic policies imposed by the IMF, World Bank, World Trade Organization and many other organizations and institutions that make life in other countries difficult.
Take for example, Indonesia, it’s a very rich country in natural resources, but it’s ravaged by poverty; the IMF and World Bank have played a large role in this.. Then look at most of Latin America, the US has supported military dictatorships that have made people’s lives inhospitable. Examples: In Chile the US supported dictator Pinochet, in El Salvador the US supported Roberto D’Aubuisson (he killed countless people including nuns, priests and an Archbishop, recently in Honduras the US supported at coup that took Zelaya out of power. This is why they have to leave their countries. Then they come to the US and people complain about their willingness to work for lower wages and taking jobs away when they are in fact victims as well.
Take the example of Bolivia, where an American company Bechtel took control over the country’s water supply with the help of the corrupt government. People were prohibited from even collecting rain water. Bechtel has been named US top contractor for 12 years in a row.
So please don’t complain about illegal immigration. It’s the US and other core countries that make life around the world inhospitable. You need to analyze the problem further before simply complaining about bullshit.

There’s little no no incentive for the Feds to enforce immigration law.
They don’t suffer from it because they don’t provide medical/financial/educational assistance to illegal immigrants.
    Only the STATES do.
So basically, the ones footing the bill have no say in anything.
    Hmmmm……

there not asleep, they want everyone to come to America one way or another. low wage jobs for illegals fuels higher paying jobs for the people who have the right paperwork. its also a great place to put government money into, they can set-up new agencies to help these people as well as new agencies to stop them from entering the country, its not about how you do it, its how it helps you get the numbers you want. once your in America your set.

We are not North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Venezuela, Mexico, or Cuba.
The United States has unique problems, and the policies of nations who do not share identical problems are irrelevant.
No, we’re not “asleep at the wheel”; we are using the resources we have to deal with our own unique issues.

There’s more technology, more border patrols and “the wall” on the border now.
Why do you call that “being asleep”??
Could it be that it’s mostly due to a Democrat President presently?
The last time anyone actually did something with regard to immigration, it was Reagan and his amnesty program. Since then, no one has done anything….yet Obama is taking all the heat for it now.
    Coincidence?

America’s politicians help people from and in other countries, but take forever to help people in their own country, America sends its troops to help other countries that have problems, yet they wont send troops to secure their own border. America’s priorities are mixed up, they should first be looking to fix their own problems.

For one thing they create a surplus labor pool. There’s a lot of lip-service from both political parties, and little to no action. The Democrats want them here because they contribute to an multicultural, diverse society, and to lock in votes to increase chances of re-election. The Republicans want them here because they create a surplus pool of cheap labor. Don’t expect a lot of progress from neither party. Just the same old lip-service.
